A medium-bodied wine from the cool 2010 vintage with a sweet black cherry aroma, followed by a surprisingly big mouthful of spicy cherry, white pepper and a hint of lavender and a supple, lingering finish.
Tasting notes
A forward, fruity Cab Franc opening with aromas of red fruit, red pepper, and dried herbs, followed by flavors of red cherry, sweet earth, toasted, smoky oak, and a touch of cinnamon spice. Pairs great with leg of lamb or perhaps a nice pork roast.
